Known for rapid growth and weight gains, our bird reaches a broiler/fryer weight of 4lbs. by 5 weeks of age, or can be managed to a roaster chicken weight of 8-10 lbs. by 8 weeks. Bred for meat production, our Cornish Cross has excellent conformation; plump, tender breast meat; and good skin texture.
